Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry dedicated to eliminating poverty and homelessness. Habitat works in partnership with low-income working families, sponsors and communities to build and renovate decent, affordable housing. Through volunteer labor and donations of money and materials, Habitat builds and rehabilitates simple, decent houses with the help of the homeowner families.
